Building Movement Power

Deeply inspired by the power of young people and the feminist liberation movement within the African continent and beyond, we are holding spaces for young persons to come together, create together, learn together and build solidarity against all systems of oppression, patriarchy, and imperialism.

Our purpose is to foster true and inclusive feminism by taking a more intersectional approach where there is a deep understanding of the structural elements that fuel patriarchy and inequalities within West African realities. Because that is the only way through which change and freedom can be achieved.

The Feminist fellowship serves as a factory of sorts where participants see the entirety of humanity and understand the need for solidarity and collaborative efforts to achieve liberation for everyone. We convene this yearly learning space through which we engage with persons across a wide range of identities and experiences to interact with and to impart a feminist ideology that is holistic in its approach and comprehensive in its conceptual reach.
